It all started in 1984, when AEON CO (M) BHD was established in Malaysia, in response to the Malaysian Government’s request to AEON Japan to help modernise retail industry in Malaysia.

With a relentless pursuit to evolve with the growing needs and requirements of its customers, AEON has constantly enhanced its services through value-added benefits and interior refurbishments. AEON’s progress in Malaysia over the years has been a glowing achievement of commitment and has enabled AEON Malaysia to be selected as the regional hub for AEON’s expansion in ASEAN.

At AEON, PEOPLE are our irreplaceable asset. AEON provides approximately 10,000 jobs to Malaysians nationwide. We work hard, together, and stay focused in placing our customers as top priority. AEON knows the importance of developing human resource in order to grow. AEON’s leadership programme, in-house retail training, skill-enhancing and development programmes proved successful in closing the skills and competency gaps.

AEON believes in grooming future leaders, leaders who can bring AEON to new heights. This brought AEON to develop the Management Trainee Programme & Japan Trainee Programme to bring forth AEON leaders to the fore.
