Talent Recruitment

  • Drive the talent recruitment lifecycle, efficiently filling vacancies with right talents. Utilise a variety of proactive, creative and suitable recruitment methods to attract candidates, including but not limited to online job boards, networking events and career fairs
  • Create and implement talent recruitment strategies in line with the Firm’s business plan, headcount planning and resource management to meet the Firm’s current and future recruitment needs
  • Design and drive the adoption of consistent talent attraction, recruitment and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
  • Establish meaningful relationships with various talent procurement stakeholders such as government talent agencies, universities, student associations and professional bodies
  • Lead projects for recruitment branding including developing appropriate promotional collateral and talent attraction communication materials, both in digital form or print
  • Involve in the development of talent recruitment policies, processes and toolkits for the purpose to build, develop and grow strong talent pipelines
  • Prepare monthly HR analytics and presentation of metrics leading to discussion and better-informed management decisions, including an annual plan and budget

 Talent Attraction & Employer Branding

  • Drive the employer brand initiatives to strengthen BDO’s employer brand strategy as one of the top employers of choice for professional and graduate hires
  • Initiate and curate attractive content/material that are relevant for social media posts as part of recruitment and/or employer brand initiatives

Other Responsibilities

  • Able to manage people projects focused on continuous improvements to completion, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines, as and when is required
  • Assist the People & Culture team in execution of various Employee Engagement activities internally to create a positive work environment
  • Effectively mentor a team of younger and dynamic subordinates

Job requirements

  • With more than 4 years of work experience, preferably in HR domain (candidates with other work experience are also encouraged to apply) and Bachelor’s Degree or Master related to Human Resources / Marketing / Management/ Commerce or Mass Communication or related fields
  • A people person, who can work independently as well as in a group and has passion in meeting people, especially students and fresh graduates
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, persuasive skills and pleasant
  • A strategic-thinking self-starter who’s able to contribute to the team, and engage effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changes
  • Tech savvy, solutions focused, proactive team leader and team player, organised and efficient
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point), Social Media platforms and Virtual Meetings such as Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams
  • Able to travel independently to university campuses (post-pandemic)
