Job Description

Talent Attraction & Employer Branding

  • Assist to further strengthen BDO’s Employment Value Proposition in line with BDO’s employer brand strategy as one of the top employers of choice for professional and graduate hires
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content on social media platforms to engage potential hires and staff and promote employer brand-focused messages, eventually leading to increased traffic and followers
  • Create and manage social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation, and implementation posting schedules
  • Able to create aesthetically pleasant graphics & content via designing tool (i.e. Canva) and to create basic video story line, work on editing and production of video for social media platforms
  • Use available social media analytics to measure and improve the content and gather visitor data to determine the efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvements
  • Lead, drive and measure the results of the social media strategy

Talent Recruitment

  • Assist the Talent team in executing various recruitment initiatives as outlined in the recruitment strategies to attract good external talents to meet the Firm’s current and future needs
  • Responsible to oversee the Firm’s profile on various online job boards and build an proactive engagement with talent pipeline with the use of technology offerings
  • Assist in creating attractive content/material as part of recruitment branding and initiatives
  • Build rapports with certain talent procurement stakeholders especially university academicians, career centres and student associations
  • Assist in administrative tasks that may arise from recruitment initiatives

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist the People & Culture team in execution of various Employee Engagement activities internally to create a positive work environment

Job requirements

  • At least 2 to 4 years of work experience, preferably in HR or Social Media domain (candidates with other work experience are also encouraged to apply) and possess a Bachelor’s degree or Master related to Human Resources / Marketing / Management/ Business Administration / Commerce or Mass Communication or related fields
  • A people person, who can work independently as well as in a group and has passion in meeting people, especially students and fresh graduates
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills
  • Good interpersonal, presentation skills and pleasant
  • Able to create basic social media posts using computer software/apps (such as Canva) and basic video editing skill
  • Creative, highly motivated and willingness to learn
  • Tech savvy (especially on social media offerings), solutions focused, proactive team player, organised and efficient
  • Passionate to grow a brand via social media and storytelling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Social Media platforms and Virtual Meetings such as Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams
  • Able to travel independently to university campuses (post-pandemic)
