Responsibilities

  • Assist to oversee and manage the department’s Group wide IFRS 9 / 4 project implementation.

  •  Prepares mock / pro-forma financial statements that comply with IFRS 9 based on project timeline.

  • Liaise and work closely with project team in GELM and GEL Singapore, consultant and auditors on implementing requirements of the standard, prepares Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on accounting work flow and draft accounting policy for Company’s financial statement.

  • Assist to prepare and review the financial statements and consolidated financial statements for internal and external requirements.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification or full qualification in Accounting (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, ICAEW)

  • Have at least 3 years of working experience in a financial institution with strong knowledge on accounting standards and preparation of financial reports.

  • Strong knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point.

  • Knowledge in Excel VB is an added advantage.
