One of the responsibilities is to assist to update Capital Management Plan (“CMP”) on timely basis in conjunction with the internal & external regulations.


Capital & Management Function

  • Assist to update Capital Management Plan (“CMP”) on timely basis in conjunction with the internal & external regulations
  • Assist in half yearly & annual full review of the Capital Management Plan in conjunction with budgeting & forecasting process
  • Monitoring capital adequacy position of all banking entities and performance relevant analysis
  • Prepare benchmarking with peers in Malaysia and Asia-Pacific region on capital management position
  • Performance research and abreast with latest industry update in relation to capital adequacy requirement
  • Assist and prepare documentation pertaining of capital injection to subsidiaries & foreign branches after internal / external approval process
  • Assist in execution of fund-raising of “capital” instruments & senior debts, including programme update/establishment process, including monitoring and timely process of capital & debt instruments principal & coupon repayment schedule
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to prepare budget related with bonds issuance and perform documentation for engagement letter, agreements, memo, correspondences, invoice etc
  • Assist to compile presentation material to seek approval from management committee and Board regarding the bonds issuance plan
  • Coordinate with Bank’s internal units for all supporting documents, data, financial and non-financial information, minutes, letters, correspondence, memo, comments/responses, etc. to be prepared to respond, comply and fulfill the requirement from regulators


  • To assist in balance sheet NIM modelling simulation and project NIM, assets yield, liabilities costs and base rate trending
  • Assist to drive an optimal balance sheet management in an effectively cautious manner to provide an optimal risk-return based on the Group’s risk appetite
  • Assist end-to-end process of the capital management, including the governance, capital planning & execution processes (including setting up/ coordinating issuance of debt/ capital instruments)
  • Assist in all ad-hoc request


  • Degree in Finance / Accounting or professional accounting qualification
  • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum above 3 years working experience in finance/accounting related field
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A team player and able to work independently
  • Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, Words, Power Points)
