Some of the responsibilities of a Bancassuranceare Personal Banker are to perform sales and business activities and to promote and sell General Insurance Bancassurance product at RHB Branches.


Bancassurance Sales:

  • To perform sales and business activities
  • To promote and sell General Insurance Bancassurance product at RHB Branches
  • To identify potential prospects and build/maintain close rapport with both bankers and customers
  • Provide sales advisory to the Bank’s customers on General Insurance products
  • To generate own leads from walk-in customers, bank events, and personal contacts
  • To identify new sales strategies and approaches to achieve monthly sales target
  • Actively participate in the bank’s sales and promotion activities
  • To deliver best sales practice and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure sales and services rendered to customers are in compliance with internal and external policies, guideline as well as regulations


  • Knowledge in insurance (Life & General) & Banking Products
  • Fluent speaking of English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Cantonese & Mandarin speaking is an added advantage
  • Able to meet timeline & scope under work pressure
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Candidates with Bachelors degree in Finance/Banking Insurance are preferred, however it is open to other backgrounds
  • Diploma holders with minimum 3 years' related experience
  • SPM holder with minimum 5 years' related experience
