Internship - Network Engineer
As a Network Engineer intern, you will be responsible for user administration to ensure all network access are fully managed, authorized and documented.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for user administration to ensure all network access are fully managed, authorized and documented
- Responsible for reviewing and reporting VPN access regularly
- Providing support in any activities involving network and/or firewall configuration
- Assisting Network Engineer to ensure network stability and performance
- Assisting Network Engineer to engage 3rd party vendors to ensure timely resolution to any network related issue
- Assisting Network Engineer to perform Proof of Concept related to Network infrastructure
- Assisting Network Engineer to oversee, maintain and document of both LAN and WAN components
- Assisting Network Engineer to manage L2/L3 Cisco switches, Fortigate firewall, Citrix Netscaler load balancer and Aerohive wireless access points
- Assisting Network Engineer to manage IPsec tunnel and SSL VPN
- Assisting Network Engineer to manage and oversee the overall Network infrastructure
Requirements
- Students/fresh graduates who major in Computer Networking
- Able to create network diagrams and documentation to design and plan network communication system
- Able to troubleshoot networking issue and resolve it
- Preferably someone who has hands-on or laboratory experience in Cisco or FortiNet
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Network and/or security related certificate (CCNA, CCDA, etc) will be an advantage
